Between 3:30am and 4:35am UTC on December 11, 2016, AWS was responding with many "InternalError" error codes during "ec2:CreateSnapshot" API calls in the us-east-1 (US Virginia) region.
Skeddly mitigated the errors where possible, but in many cases, snapshots were not able to be created.
